In 2016, Silica Mining Corporation acquired a significant amount of land with an area exceeding 100 acres. The reason for the purchase was silica deposits containing Silion Dioxide with a purity well over 70%. In 2016, the value of the deposit ranged between £3 and £5 billion. From 2021, we are observing a drastic increase in Silicon prices, also in the raw state (silica). In 2023, the value of raw silica ranged between £600 and £1,200 per tonne. Today's value of the deposit ranges between 19.5 and 40 billion pounds.
